Tennessee Titans News - Sun, 2008-11-09 23:40

LenDale White and Chris Johnson were on their way to history -- the wrong kind, because they were running in reverse. Titans Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

Tennessee Titans News - Fri, 2008-11-07 06:00

One of the reasons the Tennessee Titans have gotten off to an 8-0 start is that the club has stayed relatively free of key injuries.

Now, however, the Titans are faced with injuries to two of their most important defensive stars, heading into this week's game with the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.

Linebacker Keith Bulluck suffered cracked rib cartilage in last Sunday's 19-16 overtime win against Green Bay. He went to the locker room in the second quarter and actually returned to finish the game, but won't be near 100 percent, if he plays Sunday. Normally, the prudent move might be to hold Bulluck out, but he has proven durable over his nine-year career, missing only one game and has made 105 straight regular-season starts.

Tennessee Titans News - Thu, 2008-11-06 08:33
All the critics who bashed Tennessee's decision to draft running back Chris Johnson with their first-round pick in April sure look foolish now. The rookie leads the AFC with 715 yards rushing and 819 yards from scrimmage, and he trails only Washington's Clinton Portis (944), Adrian Peterson of Minnesota (823) and Michael Turner of Atlanta (794) for the NFL rushing lead.
